Not far from the Kingdom of God...

Words we connect with the Kingdom of God, like kind, gentle, compassionate and caring are words we connect with Jesus. Activities like working for justice, caring for the poor, housing the homeless, concern for the developing world, teaching prayer and the meaning of life, are activities within the Kingdom of God.

We want to be like Jesus, accepting of others in difficulty and dispute, forgiving of faults and failings, challenging in teaching the truth, for he is the human image of the kingdom of God, and when you try to live like him, you are not far from the kingdom of God. There are some words and activities of love, for to love God and neighbour means that you are not far from the Kingdom of God.
